In this lesson, the student will continue to gain practice with simplifying fractions into lowest terms.
We will work numerous example problems worked in a step-by-step fashion to show that putting a fraction into lowest terms is a straightforward process. All that needs to be done is that the numerator and denominator must be divided by the same number evenly.
After this is done, the fraction is said to be simplified, which just means that it looks different but it represents the same value as the original fraction.
